Region Lock
Tourney Bot's Region Lock feature combines with a user's profile to restrict tournament registration based on the region of the user that they have set in their profile. This feature is useful for tournaments that are region-specific or have region-based restrictions for prizes. This page will explain how to set up and use the Region Lock feature for your tournament.
Setup and Enabling
All of the setup required for this feature will need to be completed via your tournament's advanced settings web page, and is not possible to do via Discord. To access the advanced settings web page for your tournament, you will need to head to the tournament's admin channel and select the Advanced Settings button on the config embed. This button will have an image of a gray gear on it. Once you have clicked the button, you will be taken to the advanced settings web page for your tournament and may be required to login with your Discord credentials to gain access to editing the tournament settings.
If you are unable to locate the config embed in your tournament's admin channel, you can generate a new one using the /config comand. This will regenerate the config embed and allow you to use it as normal.
Once you are on the advanced settings web page, scroll down to the page a little bit until you see the Region Lock section, which will be directly below the Start Date section.
By deafult, the region will be set to Any. This means that any user can register for the tournament, regardless of their region. To change the region, simply click witin the box that says Any and select the region that you would like only players from that region to be able to register for your tournament.
Once you have selected the region, you will need to click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
